How secure are my payment details

Your payment information is secure with us. We work with Stripe, one of the world's leading payment providers. Stripe meets the highest industry security standards (including PCI-DSS certification) and ensures that your payment data is transmitted encrypted and never stored on our servers. So you can pay with complete peace of mind.

Is Cair free of charge?

You can download the app for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Registration and use of the platform are also free of charge. As soon as you book a caregiver through Cair, only a 15% service fee applies to the booking amount. This allows us to ensure, among other things, secure payment for those seeking care and payment for caregivers.

How can I register on the Cair platform?

Download our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and open it. Then click on "Register" and fill out the form with your personal details. Just follow the instructions on your screen.

What do I need for registration?

You do not need any specific documents for registration as a user. If you want to make a booking and use a VAT exemption for your booking, you must upload the care level certificate.

How can I search for caregivers?

After you download the app and register, you can use the search function to see all relevant caregivers.

How can I contact caregivers or families?

If you have found a suitable profile and sent a booking request, you can send a message directly via the platform and thus establish contact.

Account

How do I change my password?

In your account settings, you will find the option to change your password. In the login area, you can also reset it if you have forgotten it.

How do I update my contact details or profile information?

Click on your profile picture on the home screen to access the settings. In the app settings, you can update all relevant information.

How can I adjust notification settings?

In the app settings, you can adjust your notifications.

Can I deactivate or delete my account and what happens to my data?

You can deactivate or delete your account at any time. Your data will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Booking

How do I organize the weekly shopping?

Caregivers often take care of the weekly shopping, which raises the question of an appropriate budget for many. For groceries, we recommend a budget of €80 per person per week. A proven solution from other users is to give the caregiver a small wallet. The caregiver can then do the shopping and hand over the receipts afterwards. Additionally, we recommend that each caregiver receives an allowance for personal expenses. This amount can range between 20 and 40 € per week.

What happens if a caregiver or a customer cancels an appointment?

We understand that plans can change. If an appointment is canceled, we inform both parties as soon as possible and assist with reorganization.

Can I cancel a booking?

You can cancel your booking as a consumer free of charge within 14 days.

Please note that you can only cancel the booking after the start of the service for an important reason. Possible costs may arise for the caregiver in case of cancellation. If you want to cancel an active booking, please send a cancellation request to info@cair-app.com.

How can I cancel a booking?

What should I do if I am not satisfied with a care service?

We regret that you had a bad experience. Please give us feedback on the platform so we can evaluate and improve the situation.

How do I manage my payment information?

Before each booking, you can adjust your payment method.

Is there a minimum or maximum duration for care assignments?

The duration of care assignments can be flexibly agreed upon between you and the caregiver for a maximum of 3 months. A caregiver change must occur for a new booking.

We offer referral programs for caregivers and those seeking care. Give and receive valuable benefits when you successfully recruit new users. You can find more details in the app settings.

How can I use vouchers or promo codes?

You can add the voucher codes directly in your profile or at the end before each booking. The credits will then be credited to your account, which you can use for the upcoming booking.
